Kate Harper has been shooting for Sage Studios for quite a few years.....she started out as an assistant shooter and quickly started taking on her own weddings being promoted to Associate Photographer. Kate's style is refreshing, fun and very creative and clients have enjoyed working with her. However, after many years with us, Kate has decided to move forward into a new and different direction. We are sadden to see her go but so excited to see where she lands and what she accomplishes in her future endeavors. Kate, from me personally, you will be greatly missed and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking your work to new levels, constantly challenging yourself and for being so professional and always willing to do what it took to get the job done. Working with you over the past several years has been an honor. I know whatever you end up doing in your life it will be with great pride and style. Although our working relationship is ending, I'm confident in knowing we have built a strong friendship that will continue to grow well beyond working together.
Best of luck to you Kate and should you ever decide to jump back into this line of work, you always have a place here and are always welcome!
Kate will be finishing out her work with us for the remainder of 2007 for all contracted weddings currently in place but will not contract any future jobs.

Model Shoot
Have you ever just wanted to feel like a model? Have your
makeup and hair professionally done and then have photos of
yourself shot in a professional and fun way?? Well, we at
Sage Studios are now offering such a shoot!
We feel every woman in her life wants to feel special, unique
and beautiful and what better way than to have photographs
of yourself done in a way that makes you feel like a star.
Whether this be a treat for yourself or for that special person
in your life, we want to be able to provide you with some
very unique and different photographs that you can cherish
forever!
Whether you dress up in your wedding dress from the past or
if you have a wedding coming up or whether you have a special
outfit that you just feel great in, having yourself professionally
photographed can make you look amazing!
The shoot includes a morning or afternoon time frame (only
select weekends are available due to weddings), the outfit
of your choice a professional makeup artist and hairstylist
and between 100 to 200 photographs in different poses and
locations all presented in a hard cover bounded proofbook.
All photographs will be edited and retouched. From there,
you can select photographs to have printed for family and
friends (reprint costs apply).
All model shoots are custom priced, so if interested, please
call or email us at info@sagephoto.com and tell us what you
are looking for and we can quote you a package that meets
your needs.
We can also do couple shoots, which would include you and
your spouse or siginficant other or a child.
Model shoot will include your sitting fee, a morning or afternoon
time slot (shoot usually consists of a few hours), between
100 to 200 images shot, make-up and hair professionally done,
up to two clothing changes, all edited and retouched images
burned to a low rez CD for viewing of your photographs.
Model Shoot price: $300.00
Reprints may be ordered at any time, in any size for an additional
charge (reprint form will be provided). To purchase the hi
resolution files of your shoot, the purchase price is $200.00.
We can create some unique and creative things using the photographs
from your model shoot. Things that we have available are collage
prints, postcards or greeting cards, mini books featuring
your photographs, calendars, and more. Please discuss your
needs with us so we can share all the items available to you.

A Day in the Life Series
A "Day in the Life" series are for families who want a documentary
style shoot of spending the day with their family. This unique
way of capturing all the fun moments you share are photographed
in a way that is unique to you specifically. We will spend
a morning or afternoon with your family at the location of
your choice, so whether we hang out at your house baking cookies,
playing at the pool or on the swings or go to the beach for
a day of fun in the sun or a picnic in the park, whatever
it is, we'll be their to capture it all.

Our package price for this session is $999.00 and you will
receive your documented family shoot online (like the above)
to send out to family and friends. This will be available
on line for a period of 6 months, you will also receive a
custom designed, 13 x 9.5 coffee style book featuring your
family. These beautiful bounded books come from Italy and
are very unique in every way. Price also includes location
fee, processing, materials, etc.

of New Hampshire Magazine's BRIDE. The article "The New Photography"
was a take on where wedding photography is going and how much
the industry has changed. Weddings are shot in "real moments
- good or bad." says Diane Sage. "If it's windy, you'll remember
how windy it was. You shoot from the heart rather than what
you were trained to do as a photographer. It's seeing it,
feeling it and shooting it. Instead of being perfectly lit,
perfectly set up , there is nothing perfect about it."

Diane Sage Wins Honorable Mentions in International Wedding
& Portrait Photography (WPPI) Competition
Diane Sage of Sage Studios Photography has received special
honors in the WPPI Awards of Excellence Print Competition.
Designed to recognize outstanding wedding & portrait photographers,
the event was held in conjunction with WPPI's 23rd annual
World of Wedding & Portrait Photography Convention and Trade
Show on Saturday, February 1, 2003 in Las Vegas, Neveda.
Diane's winning print, "The Moment Has Arrived" received Honorable
mention in the Bride or Groom alone category. Diane Sage competed
against photographers from all over the world to win such
an honor.
The Awards of Excellence convention held at Bally's Las Vegas
in February 2003, included competition prints from over 1000
entries in 15 different categories by professional photographers
from all over the world. Prints scoring 80 or above were given
blue ribbon and gold seals and were on display at this years
WPPI convention. Below is the print that was submitted.
Some photographs of Leo & Kim Hisoire's wedding, taking place
on Block Island in RI in June 2002, photographed by Sage Studios
Photography, was recently published in the Winter Edition
of Bride & Groom Magazine. You can pick up the upcoming issue
